PIKEVILLE -- Troy Junior Daughtry, 77, 1202 Old Kenly Road, went to be with his Lord Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Wilson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Entombment will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Mr. Daughtry was born July 6, 1933, to the late Troy and Alice Hines Daughtry.
He was retired from Aycock Tractor Co., and was a member of Pinkney Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Grace Gower Daughtry; two daughters, Debbie Bradshaw and husband, Jesse, of Fremont and Ann Brown and husband, Anthony, of Princeton; a sister, Geraldine Faulk of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Jacob Bradshaw, Reese Brown and Casey Bradshaw; and a great-grandchild, Hunter Robinson.
Mr. Daughtry was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Rose Benton and Edna Mae Aycock.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pinkney Baptist Church Building Fund.
