FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Virginia May White, Christian City, formerly of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away Dec. 19, 2010, at the age of 94.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Lt. Col. Bill White and a brother.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Blackford of Lithia Springs, Ga., and Joyce Kay White of Dahlonega, Ga.; son, Danny James White, and daughter-in-law, Margaret White of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Ga., with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Burial will be at Camp Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
