MOUNT OLIVE -- Linda Cooke Jennette, 67, Smith's Chapel community, died Sunday.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leland Heath Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Jennette Family Cemetery on the family farm.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of Joseph and Lisa Jennette, 619 Kermit Warren Road, Mount Olive.
Linda was the daughter of the late Jesse Brian Cooke and Sudie Reaves Cooke, and was the widow of B.J. Jennette.
She was a member of Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church, and was a homemaker and farm wife.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon J. and Shannon Jackson of Wallace; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Lisa Jennette and Brian and Brandy Jennette all of Smiths Chapel community near Mount Olive; four grandchildren, Avery Jennette, Ryan Jennette, Jacob Jennette and Connor Jackson; and two sisters, Alice Hazzard of Newport News, Va., and Carolyn Carter of Goldsboro.
