MAMIE RUTH SUTTON BURNETT

CONWAY, S.C.-- Mamie Ruth Sutton Burnett, 73, passed Saturday morning at Conway Manor.
The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, from 6 until 6:45 p.m., at Sweetwater Branch Baptist Church in Conway, S.C., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Cliff Mixon officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Ruth was born in Goldsboro on Aug. 14, 1937, to the late Gertrude and Thomas Lloyd Sutton. Along with her husband they owned and operated Quick Time Auto Sales. Ruth was a member of Sweetwater Branch Baptist Church.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Walter L. "Buddy" Burnett; her step-daughter, Kim Pagent; her brothers, Cleo Sutton and wife, Louise, of Goldsboro, Denny Sutton and wife, Linda, of Goldsboro, and Vayden Cloyce Sutton and wife, Lorraine, of Wilmington; her brother-in-law, Jim Price of Wilmington; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Deyo and Carolyn Price, and her brother, T.O. Sutton.
