MOUNT OLIVE -- Hubert Ray Whitman, 63, resident of Glencare of Mount Olive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. A private burial will be at a later date
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Jim Jeffrey and Pennie Weeks Whitman, and husband of the late Jewel Best Whitman.
Family will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the service Thursday.
The Whitman family is being served by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory.
