RUTHIE MITCHELL STOKES

DALZELL, S.C. -- Ms. Ruthie Mitchell Stokes, 64, originally of Goldsboro, N.C., daughter of the late Jessie and Lenora Mitchell, departed this earthly life at Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, S.C., June 17, 2010.
Ms. Stokes was preceded in death by her husband, William Stokes, and her daughter, Sharmina Mitchell.
She is survived by her son and his spouse, a stepdaughter, eight grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, six sisters, five brothers, two aunts, five uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Ms. Stokes will take place Friday, June 25, 2010, 11 a.m. at Old Mill Cemetery. Repast will be held after burial at Branch Memorial Tabernacle, located at 500 Gulley St., Goldsboro, N.C.
