Shirley Klein Smith, 82, passed away Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A private service will be held for the family.
Mrs. Smith was born in Toronto, Canada, Sept. 2, 1927, to the late Izzy and Ida Gesser Klein.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Smith; a son, Steve Smith and wife, JoAnn, of Goldsboro; a daughter, Ressa Smith of Arizona; a sister, Sandra Mathias of Florida; and four grandchildren, Joel Loewenthal, Mark Loewenthal and fiancee´, Melissa Pulsipher, of Arizona, Josh Smith and wife, Jamie, of Goldsboro and Troy Smith and fiancee´, Meagan Tucker, of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the residence, 705 S. Harding Drive, Apt. 701.
