FAISON -- Edwina Blount McLean, 94, 177 Juniper Road, quietly passed away to her eternal home Friday night at home.
A service of remembrance will be held Thursday at Hills Chapel Baptist Church in Faison at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Charlie Ross officiating. Burial will be in Faison Community Cemetery.
Mrs. McLean worked in the Hamilton Insurance department for many years.
She was pianist for Burning Bush Holy Church in Faison.
She is survived by a sister, Ruth Eloise Blount of the home; two brothers, Earl Blount of Dudley and James Blount of Dearborn, Mich.; three nieces; a nephew; and other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. The body may be viewed Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro.
Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
