CLAYTON U. BURCH

MOUNT OLIVE -- Clayton U. Burch, 72, of 2540 O'Berry Road, died Friday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Leland Heath Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from noon until service time.
Mr. Burch, son of the late Bayard Carlyle Burch and Bertha Jennette Burch, was a retired farmer. He had served with the N.C. National Guard.
He is survived by his widow, Glenda Sasser Burch of the home, along with two brothers, Woodard Burch and wife, Nell, of Mount Olive, and Clement Burch and wife, Mary, of Wilmington.
