SEVEN SPRINGS -- Elaine Rouse Broadwell, 79, died Saturday.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ray Broadwell officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery.
Elaine was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Lenoir County to the late James Albert Rouse Sr. and Hazel Sutton Rouse.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dell Broadwell, and a daughter.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home.
