SNEADS FERRY -- Susan Cooke King, 49, of Sneads Ferry, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Holly Ridge Church of God with the Rev. Stephen Dupree officiating. Burial will follow at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Earl E. King, of the home; one daughter, Katelyn King, of Sneads Ferry; three sons, Jason King, Kris King and Joshua King, all of Sneads Ferry; her mother, Ruby Cooke, of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Megan, Jordan and Ayden King, all of Sneads Ferry; her stepmother, Mary Ann Cooke, of Goldsboro; three sisters, Lisa Wade of Goldsboro, Donna Whitaker of Jacksonville, Fla., and Alice Crawford of Greensboro; and two brothers, Keith Squires and Clenon Cooke Jr., both of Goldsboro.
The family received friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 207 Dyson St., Holly Ridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.
