KENANSVILLE -- Charley Thornton, 74, died Thursday at home.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Home chapel in Warsaw. Burial will be in Faison Cemetery.
He was born April 9, 1935, in Sampson County to the late Henry Felix and Ola Clyde Horne Thornton.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Lorene Thornton of the home; a son; and two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.
