DUDLEY -- Retired Technical Sgt. Eugene P. Craig, 85, 4018 U.S. 117, died Wednesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church, with pastor Richard Toler officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Morgan County, Ga., he was the son of the late Patten O. and Hettie Edith Holloway Craig.
A member of Love Memorial Baptist Church, Eugene was retired from the United States Air Force after mor than 25 years of service, including World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Craig is survived by his wife, Jessie Lane Craig; a son, Keith Wayne Craig of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; a brother, Gus Lankford of Eatonton, Ga.; three sisters, Blanch Doris Sneed of Cusseta, Ga., Jewel Martin of Atlanta, Ga., and Audrey Lanier of Newnan, Ga.
Family members will greet friends Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church and at other times will be at the home.
