BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Marian Alice (Brock) Fulbright, 79, died Sunday in Goldsboro.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Gary Buckner and brother Eddie Cox officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barnes Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Batesville and was the daughter of John R. and Lottie (Wells) Brock.
A lifelong resident of Batesville, Ark., she was a long-time active member of First Baptist Church. She had a love for missions and served in a leadership capacity for the Women's Mission Union for many years.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Dr. Deborah K. Fulbright of Goldsboro; a sister, Bernita Brock of Little Rock; several nieces, nephews and cousins; two brothers-in-law; and three sisters-in-law. She also leaves behind her beloved church family and many dear friends.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Floyd N. Fulbright; a son, Michael Lee Fulbright; two sisters: Vivian Brock and Hildreth Brock; a young sister; and a young brother.
Pallbearers will be Dave Stallings, Bill Cox, Norm O'Brien, Jim Kilgore, Russell Moore and Ralph Branstetter. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Robert Walton, the deacons at the First Baptist Church and her nephews.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
