REV. BAXTER C. HARRINGTON

RICHMOND, Va. -- The Rev. Baxter C. Harrington, formerly of Goldsboro, departed this life Monday.
His life will be celebrated and remembered Friday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Tate officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Christina Nicole Harrington; a son, Brandon Neil Harrington; a granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Harrington; two sisters, Florarine Harrington and Maebell Harrington Core; three brothers, the Rev. John L. (Florahette), Jimmy L. and Bobby Ray Harrington (Gloria); two aunts, Mary McLean and Savannah McNeill (William); two uncles, Elmer Lee Pipkin (Gladys) and Napoleon Burrus; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted Rounchey Edmundson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Neil and Catherine Harrington.
Rev. Harrington's remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at 422 Hunters Creek Drive, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro is serving the family.
