MOUNT OLIVE -- Billie Jo Loftin Coltren, 42, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tyndal Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
"B . J.," as she was known, was born in Wayne County.
She had been employed with the Wayne County Jail and also at Sunbridge Care Center.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Coltren; daughters, Brianna West and Kristy Coltren of Mount Olive; a son, Bill Coltren Jr. of Mount Olive; her parents, Charles and Chellie Loftin of Mount Olive; sisters, Patricia Miller, Carol Ann Jones, Tammy Waters and Jackie Houser, all of Mount Olive; brothers, A. J. Tucker of Seven Springs and Chris Shivar of Goldsboro; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Her mother, Joyce Garris Loftin Tucker, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and at other times at the Charles Loftin residence, 464 Baker Chapel Church Road in Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to help defray final expenses.
