KENLY -- Lib Edwards, 74, Princeton-Kenly Road, died Tuesday at the University of North Carolina Hospital.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Kenly Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Harold Swinson officiating. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Princeton Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County May 22, 1935, to the late Walter and Rena Pike.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of Kenly Free Will Baptist Church.
She and her husband were owners and operators of Kenly IGA.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Sid Edwards; two daughters, Crystal Edwards Sprissler and husband, Danny, of Knightdale and Belinda Edwards Etheridge and husband, Ken, of Kenly; two sisters, Phyllis Pike Turner of Titusville, Fla., and Margaret Pike Hardison of Hampton, Va.; four grandchildren, John Etheridge and wife, Beth, Paula Murray and husband, Player, Chris Sprissler and Danielle Sprissler; and great-grandchild, Emma Lynn Etheridge.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter "Booty" Pike.
Visitation will follow the funeral service in the church fellowship hall.
