THOMAS SESSOMS

ROSEBORO -- Thomas Raeford Sessoms, 44, of 315 Josh Sessoms Road, passed away Thursday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School Gymnasium with the Revs. Jeff Bartlett and Jesse Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the Sessoms-Peterson Cemetery.
Mr. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Abner R. and Annie J. Brock Sessoms. He was a teacher with the Sampson County Schools for 19 years and at the time of his illness was employed at Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School.
Mr. Sessoms is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Sessoms, of Roseboro and Vonita Sessoms, of Goldsboro; niece, Connie Duke, of Abilene, Texas; and many special friends and co-workers.
The family received friends on Saturday night from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School Gymnasium.
