MOUNT OLIVE -- Funeral services for Kirby Lee Bond, 52, who died Thursday, will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home chapel, with visitation afterwards, with the Rev. Coy Brock officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Memorial Park near Wallace.
He is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Sandra Bond of Goldsboro, Jonathan and Jessica Bond, Joshua Bond and Jaime Bond all of Mount Olive; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jannah, Jocelyn and Jacob; a brother and sister-in-law, James Elmo and Brenda Bond of Surf CIty; three sisters and four brothers-in-law, Juanita and Mitchell Padgett of Willard, Naomi and Mike Beacham of Burgaw and Rebecca and Bobby Herring of Mount Olive and Jimmy O'Briant of Smithfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Bruce Bond and Lyda Mae McCoy Bond, and siblings, Raymond Bond, Clifton Bond, Loyce Bond and Joyce O'Briant.
