LAGRANGE -- Walter Richard "Ricky" Barwick passed away Saturday.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Gerald Stacy officiating.
Ricky enjoyed music, gardening, cooking and swimming.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Judy Jernigan Fields, and friend, D.L. White, of LaGrange; father and stepmother, Willard and Laverne Barwick of LaGrange; sister, Tracy Barwick of Charlotte; paternal grandmother, Elma Gray Barwick of Seven Springs; and a special aunt and uncle, Frances and Elwood Padrick of LaGrange.
Ricky was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ottie Lee Jernigan and Claude R. Jernigan Sr.; and his paternal grandfather, Walter J. Barwick.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Judy J. Fields, 114 W. Railroad St. in LaGrange.
