AUSTIN, Texas -- Charles Marcellus Nisbet, 24, passed away Sunday.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norma Walters and the Rev. Noah Barefoot officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Charles was born March 29, 1985, in Hampton, Va., to Carol Sutton Nisbet of Winterville and the late Alex Howard Nisbet.
He was a graduate of Bowie High School and was presently a senior at Texas State University. Charles played on the Bowie High School football team and enjoyed soccer, Frisbee golf, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, Charles is survived by a brother, Stephen Howard Nisbet; maternal grandfather, Marcellus Lanier Sutton of LaGrange; two aunts, Donna Sutton of Winterville and Nancy Nisbet of Albany, Ga.; and a cousin, Kelly Kincaid.
The family will receive friends beginning one hour before the service of remembrance.
