ATLANTIC BEACH -- Billie Lou Grantham Hail, 73, passed away Sunday.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Billie was the widow of Col. William Warren "Score" Hail. She was the daughter of the late Paul A. Grantham and Emma Lee Grantham Hall and the stepdaughter of the late David John "D.J." Hall.
She is survived by her son, William Daniel "Dan" Hail of Ashburn, Va.; her sister, Betty Grantham Rollins and husband, Ben, of LaGrange; her mother-in-law, Lucille Hail of Leesburg, Va.; three sisters-in-law; six nephews; and a niece.
Billie was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Elizabeth, and her only brother, Paul A. Grantham Jr.
