Anita Christine Davis Vaughn, 59, of 12 N. Quailcroft Drive, died Thursday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of the late John Benson and Ruth Rittnour Davis. She was employed with Wachovia Bank on Berkeley Boulevard as a customer service representative.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband of over 39 years, Douglas Carl Vaughn; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wayne and Michelle Vaughn of Las Vegas, Nev.; one daughter, Christy Lynn Vaughn of Goldsboro; she was the devoted grandmother to Joshua Novak, Chloe Vaughn, Emily Vaughn, Camron Vaughn and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her fifth grandchild; three brothers, Mark Davis, John Davis, Tim Davis; and three sisters, Donna Barringer, Linda McCartney and Brenda McCartney.
Family members will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home.
