CLEATUS WASHINGTON HOWELL

Cleatus Washington Howell, 93, of 1007 Stoney Creek Church Road, went to be with his Lord Saturday at his home.
Homegoing services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Rosewood Church of God with visitation immediately afterwards. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Howell Cemetery, Stoney Creek Church Road.
Mr. Howell was born in Wayne County on Feb. 22, 1916, to the late Pee Dee and Annie Killett Howell. He was a faithful member of Rosewood Church of God and was an avid fisherman, hunter and farmer.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 73 years, Hazel H. Howell; two sons, Cleatus Darrell Howell and wife, Atha, of Goldsboro and Danny Hewett Howell and wife, Lisa, of Rural Hall; two daughters, Nancy Robinson of Goldsboro and Wanda Lea Davies and husband, Nigel, of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren, Robbie Robinson, Cathy Ingram, Darrell Howell, Dan Howell, Reggie Howell and Laurel Davies; four great-grandchildren, Mindy Robinson, Austin Howell, Ashley Howell and Tyler Howell; and one great-great-grandchild, L.J. Robinson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Howell was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
