Edna Heath Taylor Hill, 79, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. Interment will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Lenoir County and lived in the Kinston area most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lettie Boyette Heath and the widow of Clyde Taylor and Clarence Hill.
She was a member of Gray Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Deep Run. Mrs. Hill was retired from the Albain Co. in Kinston.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her sons, Ray Taylor and wife, Vickie, of Goldsboro and Dennis Taylor of Goldsboro; her sister, Clarsie Smith of Kinston; her grandchildren, Michael Taylor and wife, Stephanie, of Pikeville, Bryan Taylor and wife, Catharine, of Wake Forest and Erin Taylor and Eric Taylor both of Goldsboro; and her great-grandson, Turner Lee Taylor.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Edward Earl Taylor; her sister, Reba Taylor; and her brothers, Walter Heath, Percy Heath and Earl Heath.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC, 27534.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ray and Vickie Taylor, 126 Moss Hill Drive in Rosewood.
