DR. JOE MILLARD BUNN

SANDY SPRINGS, S.C. -- Dr. Joe Millard Bunn, Ph.D., 77, husband of Marie Bunn, died Friday.
A memorial service was held Monday at 10 a.m. at Mount Zion Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Susan Smith. Burial will be held at a later date at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church. The family received friends at the church following the service.
Born Jan. 20, 1932, in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Clarence S. and Zora S. Woodall Bunn.
He was a graduate of Iowa State University where he received his Ph.D., PE. He was the retired chair of the Agriculture and Biological Engineering Department at Clemson University. He was a Fellow in the American Society of Agricultural Engineers. Dr. Bunn was a member of Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Sandy Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Bunn; two sons, Ronnie Joe Bunn of Utica, Ky., and Kenneth Bruce Bunn of Midland, Ga.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Donald Bunn of Whittier, and David Buster Bunn of Pikeville; and one sister, Shelba Bunn Buchannan of Pikeville.
A sister, Betty Lynch, preceded him in death.
