Ruther Worrell Mitchell, 89, 204 Rollingwood Drive, Dudley, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The homegoing service will held Saturday at noon at St. Delight United Holy Church, Parkstown. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery.
Treasured memories remain with her children, Marjorie (David) Warren of Brooklyn, N.Y., Carolyn King of Garner, Linda (Ray) Deans of Goldsboro, Gerald Worrell of Goldsboro, Horace Worrell of Goldsboro; sister, Alma Williams of Goldsboro; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great-granchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
