SEVEN SPRINGS -- George Allen "Shank" Jones, 67, 7341 Highway 55 W., died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
A service of remembrance will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
He was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Lenoir County to the late Carlton and Doris Cauley Jones.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
