LINDA A. JORDAN

ACWORTH -- After a two-year courageous battle with cancer, Linda A. Jordan, of Acworth, Ga., formerly of Goldsboro, went home to her heavenly reward on Tuesday.
Services to celebrate Linda's life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday beginning one hour before the service.
Linda was born in Lenoir County to the late James "Shine" Anderson and Mable Moye Anderson.
Linda is survived by her son, Sean Letchworth of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Jimmie Anderson and wife, Billie, of LaGrange; nephew, Tom Anderson and wife, Crystal, and their daughter, Mason of Wilson; nephew, Steve Anderson of LaGrange; along with many special friends.
Linda was a longtime employee of BB&T. She leaves behind a legacy of confidence and trust to everyone she assisted. Her deep relationship with others is a true tribute to her love of life. But the role of "Mom" to her son, Sean, was her greatest joy in life. Farewell ye faithful servant -- a job well done.
