Died Feb. 4, 2009
Leonard Wade Barefoot, 55, 101 Ehrhardt Way, Princeton, died Wednesday evening at Johnston Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
He was the son of the late William Leonard and Christine Wade Barefoot. He had served his country in the Navy. He was a sales person for Triangle Brick Company. Mr. Barefoot was a member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church where he was the chairman of the Deacon Board and a Sunday school teacher. He served as a council member on the Advisory Board of Princeton High School and he also served as a Scout leader.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Daughtry Barefoot; son, Joshua Barefoot of the home; daughter, Jennifer Barefoot of the home; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
