DONALD R. ATKINSON
Died Dec. 26, 2008
Donald Ray Atkinson, 50, of 1702 S. Slocumb St. passed away peacefully Friday at his residence.
He will be eulogized on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Precious and fond memories are left to his beloved wife, Debbra Atkinson of the home; daughter Demetira Sherard of Goldsboro; mother, Barbara Rivers of Goldsboro; sisters, Carolyn Atkinson of Goldsboro and JoAnn Pryor of Richmond, Va.; brothers, Edward Atkinson of Goldsboro and Michael Moore of Goldsboro; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2 until 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
