Lola Mae Grandberry, 67, 1528 Airport Road, slipped into the arms of her waiting Lord on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The service of triumph and homegoing will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Morning Star Holiness Church in Fremont with the Rev. Jackie Ellis officiating. Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Fremont Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish precious and sacred memories her daughters, Gloria Green Vick of Fremont and Antonia Telford of Queens, N.Y.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
