KINSTON -- Rosa Evans Carter, 65, died Tuesday at University Health Systems Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Ransome Carter and the Rev. John Carter officiating. Inter-ment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Rosa was the daughter of the late James Vander Evans and Lula Mae Browder Evans.
Rosa is survived by four children; two brothers; three sisters; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ransome Carter, 2864 Cobb Road, Kinston.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
