ATLANTA, Ga. -- Jerome Thomas Evans III, 56, of 1760 Clayhill Point, Marietta, Ga. , died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 at Grady Trauma Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church, 2110 N. Wilson Highway with the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born on March 6, 1952, to the late Jerome Thomas Evans II and Mary E. Hawkins.
He was the general manager of LA Fitness Health Club.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Evans; sons, Jerome Thomas Evans IV, Stephen Evans, Jeremy Evans and Tristan J. Hood; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Robert O. Hawkins and his brother, Michael L. Evans.
Visitation will be Saturday night from 2 to 6 at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. At other times the family will receive friends at 400 S. Claiborne St. where they will also line up for the funeral procession.
