HELLAGARDE M. HILL

Mrs. Hellagarde Mozingo Hill, 80, passed away Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Revs. Bill Sutton and Barry House officiating. Burial will follow in Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hellagarde was born in Wayne County on Nov. 27, 1927, to the late Daniel Mozingo and Hazel Toler Mozingo. She was married to the late Hubert Curtis Hill.
Along with her husband, Hellagarde owned and operated Hill Sewing Center in downtown Goldsboro for many years. Before her declining health, she was a faithful member of the Tabernacle Pentecostal Holi-ness Church.
Hellagarde will be remembered for her love of family and her strong faith. She never met a stranger and was a friend to many. Her smile lightened the spirits of all those around her. Hellagarde will be greatly missed.
Hellagarde is survived by her son, Curtis Hill and wife, Linda, of Pikeville; her daughters, Sandra Faircloth and husband, Ricky, of Mount Olive, and Cathy Bizzell and husband, Jimmy, of Goldsboro; her brother, Dexton Mozingo and wife, Shelby, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Donna Hill Bonnell and husband, Patrick, Ginger Hill Dail and husband, Junior, Emily Hill, Mark Hill, Carla Faircloth Price and husband, Pat, Windy Faircloth Furin, Jamie Bizzell Smith and husband, Harry, and Christa Bizzell Burnette and husband, Timothy; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jimmy Bizzell, 102 Livingston Drive, Golds-boro, N.C.
