IVORY J. BROADIE
Died Sept. 28, 2008
Mr. Ivory Joseph "Jay" Broadie, 70, died Sunday at his home.
A viewing will be held tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Janet Ward officiating. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was retired from the City of Goldsboro.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ivory J. Broadie.
Mr. Broadie is survived by a daugter, Cindy Dawson of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Devante Artis and Rico Dawson Jr., both of Goldsboro; two godchildren, Tammy Herring and Courtney Tatum, both of Goldsboro.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Kemp and staff at Davita Dialysis Center.
Arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
