CROFTON, Md. -- Susan Hanna Jones, the wife of Gene L. Jones of Crofton, Md., died Wednesday of leukemia at home with her family and pets by her bedside.
Private services will be held.
Hanna was the daughter of the late Pete and Lillian Walker of Goldsboro.
She was married to Gene for over 27 years.
Hanna taught elementary school for 15 years at Pikeville Elementary School.
She loved gardening, crafts, and was once a volunteer at the Baltimore Zoo. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife and lover of life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Chesapeake, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
