JUANITA T. GOODING

LAGRANGE -- Juanita Taylor Gooding, 87, 4727 Bulltown Road, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Stancil officiating. Interment will follow at Cobb Cemetery.
Mrs. Gooding was the wife of the late Robert Everett Gooding. Known for her conservatism, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and puzzles.
Mrs. Gooding is survived by six children, Ruth Kramer and husband, Richard of Goldsboro, Elsie Parrish and husband, Jerry of Black Creek, Bud Gooding and wife, Patsy of Ontario, Canada, Marshall Gooding and wife, Kay of Hookerton, Roger Gooding and wife, Ann of Saulston, Tammy Heath and husband, Tommy of LaGrange; sister, Geraldine Smith of Goldsboro; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The Gooding family would like to thank Lenoir Memorial Hospital CCU Nurses, Jennifer Potter, Elaine Pelletier and Gwen Gardner for their loving care and support.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Heath, 4725 Bulltown Road, LaGrange.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Broadcasting Hope c/o Curtis Media Group, 2581 Highway 70, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530 in support of her great-great-grandson, Max McNair.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
