EMPORIA, Va. -- Mrs. Margaret Worrell Warren, 62, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Rat," 2626 West Franklin St., Baltimore, Md., and formerly of Wayne County, died on Monday.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at All Saints Holy Church, 328 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley, with the Rev. Patricia Faison officiating. Burial will follow in the Worrell Garden Cemetery, Worrell Garden Road. A viewing will be conducted on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at All Saints Holy Church.
Rat started her life's journey on May 11, 1946, in Wayne County. She was the daughter born to the late Mr. George W. Worrell and Mrs. Bernice Hall Worrell who lived at 1172 Mount Olive Highway, Dudley.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted mother, Bernice Hall Worrell; her sons, George, Roland Jr., Martinenas and Donald Stockton; one daughter, Karen; two brothers and five sisters; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
At other times, the family will be receiving family members and friends at the residence of Mrs. Bernice Worrell, 1172 Mount Olive Highway, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
