HAZEL F. LASHLEY

Hazel Fields Lashley, 80, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington.
Hazel was born in Wayne County Feb. 28, 1928, to the late Leonard Fields and Sudie Westbrook Fields. She was married to the late Eugene Malloy Lashley.
Hazel was a member of First Christian Church in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Fred Clarke officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Hazel is survived by her sons, Ted Lashley of Wilmington and wife, Theresa, Don Lashley of Wilmington and wife, Karen, Brian Lashley of Chapel Hill and William Lashley of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Cheryl Lashley, Michael Lashley, Samantha Lashley, Nicole Lashley, Joseph Lashley and Dustin Templeton; and her sisters, Lorice McMillan of Goldsboro and Katie Sauls of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eloise Epps.
