DURHAM -- June F. Hamilton, 62, of 1218 Ivy St., died Monday at his home.
He is the son of the late James and Lillie Garner Hamilton.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday from the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, Albertson, with pastor Aaron Jarman officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakridge Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hamilton, and five children.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to funeral service Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to benefit his eight surviving grandchildren in care of the June F. Hamilton Memorial Fund, c/o Wachovia Bank, 301 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
