MOUNT OLIVE -- Helen Lois Kelly Smith, 75, died Monday at Glen-Care of Pink Hill.
She was the daughter of the late William Fernie Kelly and Ethel Turner Kelly and the widow of Graham Smith. She had been employed with Lamb Group Homes.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Terri S. and Bob Nelson of Fairfax, Va.; two grandsons, Chris Davis of Fairfax, Va., and Brooks Davis of Fayetteville, currently serving with the armed forces in Iraq; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary E. "Flip" Kelly of Mount Olive; and a brother and sister-in-law, William and Linda Kelly of Mount 0live.
Services will be held by the graveside at 11 am. Wednesday in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Steven Wicks will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the home, 107 South Johnson St. in Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are requested to be made to Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 158, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365, or to the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Oberlin Road, suite 220, Raleigh, N.C., 27605.
