KENLY -- Donnie Mack Taylor, 91, died Monday at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will follow at Forehand Cemetery in Pikeville.
Mr. Taylor was born in Wayne County on Oct. 1, 1916, to the late Matthew and Alice Forehand Taylor.
He is survived by three children.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine St. in Fremont. At other times they will be at the home of his son, Jimmy Taylor, 6913 Camp Fire Road, Kenly.
