SMITHFIELD -- Eva Edwards Daughtry, 91, of Smithfield Manor, formerly of Princeton, died Wednesday morning. She was born the daughter of the late Zadock and Florence Wallace Edwards. She was the widow of R.K. Daughtry Jr. Mrs. Daughtry was a faithful wife, loving mother and devoted grandmother.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday morning at Rains Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the Rains Crossroads Church Cemetery.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Lynwood and Mary Lee Daughtry of Beaufort, N.C., Delton and Susan Daughtry of Princeton; daughter and son-in-law, Alma D. and Fred Radford of Hartwell, Ga.; grandchildren, Nathan Daughtry of New Bern, Lauren D. Michels of Beaufort, Anthony Radford of Brunswick, Ga., Suzanne R. Rowley of Loganville, Ga., Anna D. Moraglia of Charlotte; six great-grandchildren.
Although flowers are welcome the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Rains Crossroads Church Building Fund.
The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
