NEW BERN -- Funeral services for Lula McLamb, 82, formerly of Goldsboro, who died Saturday at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern, will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Dortch officiating. Interment will be Friday at Barfield Family Cemetery, Vanceboro.
She was born in Craven County to the late Abraham Barfield and Katie Nelson and was the wife of the late Paul McLamb. One child survives.
Viewing will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church until the hour of service. The family will be receiving friends at 203 Lakeview Drive, Goldsboro.
Arrangements are by Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
