WILSON -- Karen Murphrey Huff, 55, of Wilson, died Thursday. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.
Mrs. Murphrey is survived by a son, Jamie C. Huff and wife, Sherry; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Huff and Hailey Joe-Ann Huff all of Stantonsburg; a niece, Kathy Phillips and husband, Kirk, of Willow Spring; two aunts, Mig Sullivan and husband, Clyde, of Goldsboro and Faye Coley of Snow Hill; an uncle, Eddie Coley of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; close friend, Sherby White of Lucama and companion, Jeff Deans, of Black Creek.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Edgar and Carrie Coley Murphrey.
The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home following the service and at other times at 301 Derek Lane, Stantonsburg.
In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be directed to the family.
