LINSTEN WILLIAMS

Mr. Linsten Williams, 58, of 8836 Goldfields Drive, Charlotte died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral will be noon Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3400 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, with Dr. Clifford A. Jones, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Williams was the owner of Mr. Jim's Pizza, Exclusively Your Hair Designs, Inc. and Exclusive Service Center. He received a BA degree in History from Livingstone College in Salisbury, and served his county in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Lizzie Miles Williams of Charlotte; sons and daughters-in-law, Linsten Jermiles and Tamika Lewis, and Lushawn Javon and Sarata Williams, all of Charlotte; mother, Lola Mosley Williams of Dudley; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Sandra Williams of Faison; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan Carolyn and Johnny Graham Mason of Dudley, and Lola Marie and Jimmy Sutton of Oakland, Calif.; a half-sister, Beulah Sutton, of Kinston; five grandchildren, Kysten Jameke, Kamren Jamel, Sun Sara Joi, Xavier Javon, and Sean Jaiden all of Charlotte; goddaughter, Carmen Coletrane Graves of Yanceyville; godson, Reginald McAfee of Charlotte; six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, four aunts, two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and employees.
A.L. Jinwright Funeral Service will be serving the Williams Family; 4300 Statesville Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28269.
