PEARLLEAN W. WOODARD

ROSEWOOD -- Pearllean Webb Woodard, 92, went home to Heaven on Feb. 8, 2008. Born Nov. 10, 1915 in Pine Level, she had lived at 100 Silver Fox Circle, Goldsboro for the past three years. She was a member of Rosewood First Baptist and then moved to Emmaus Baptist Church for a short time, but had been a life-long member of Pine Level Baptist Church before moving to Rosewood.
Funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with her grandson, Dr. Lloyd Braswell officiating. Visitation will be held at Parrish Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008. At other times the family will be at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Vernon Braswell, 100 Silver Fox Circle, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
Mrs. Woodard was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Woodard, a son, Russell Woodard and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Braswell.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Braswell and husband, Vernon, of Rosewood; daughter-in-law, Lilly Woodard of Burlington; grandchildren, Vickie Harris and husband, Matt, of Midlothian, Va., Lloyd Braswell and wife, Anne, of Durham, Susan Fox and husband, Allen, of Charlotte, Frankie Woodard and wife, Susie, of Burlington, Janet Reed of Burlington, and Darlene Woodard of Burlington. Mrs. Woodard was also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial gifts may be made to the Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 N.C. Hwy. 581, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530, Emmaus Baptist Church, 909 Mitchell Road, Dudley, N.C. 28333 or the Home, Health and Hospice, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
