PINETOPS - George A. Thompson, 62, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2008. He was born Dec. 29, 1945, to the late Wilbur Wright and Mary Alice Varnell Thompson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Leonard Thompson; daughter, Robin House of Pinetops; son, Travis Thompson of Greenville; sisters, Ann Pittman of Golds-boro and Sallye Broglin of Rocky Mount; brother, Glenn Thompson, also of Rocky Mount; and grandson, Keegan House.
