MINISTER NELLIE BOSEMAN BYNUM

Minister Nellie Boseman Bynum, 61, went to be with her Lord, whom she served so faithfully, on Sunday morning.
Nellie was born in Wayne County to the late Vonnell Boseman and Eva Mae Winn Boseman. She was married to the late Leonard Bruce Bynum Sr. Nellie had ministered to shut-ins and residents of nursing homes and was an active member of the Tabernacle of Prayer for All People. She had been educated in Wayne County Public Schools and had worked with Case Farms in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, with the Rev. Lawrence Bogier Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Bynum Family Cemetery.
Nellie is survived by her daughters, Vicky Wallace of Dudley and Goldie Kornegay of Hopewell, Va.; her sons, Leonard Bruce Bynum Jr. of Goldsboro and Lenell Bruce Bynum of the home; her grandchildren, Shawntee' Kornegay, Victoria Wallace, Shadae Wallace, Billy Wallace III., Stacy Bynum, Ebony Bynum and Jabria Bynum; her great-grandchildren, David Kamienski Jr., Danita Kamienski and LaToya Kamienski; her sisters, Julia Mildred Boseman, Dora Mae Whitfield, Doris Kornegay, Sandra Oates, Glenda Lanier, Dorothy May Smith, Gloria Wilson, Ruth Cobb and Shirley Faye Davis; her brothers, Tronsil Boseman, Joe Louis Boseman, Orlando Boseman, Ennis Boseman, Willie Boseman and Vance Boseman; and a host of nieces, nephews, special friends, and the entire Bynum Family.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 106 Rose Landing Drive, Goldsboro.
